Wilson combat 1911
« on: August 09, 2015, 08:02:31 PM »
I've been drooling over these guns, I won't be able to afford one of these for a long time so all I can do is drool lol. Any one have any experience with them? I really like the professional or contact line. If you could get one which one would it be?

A Wilson X-Tac is on my short list alao , the fit and finish is  . I've shot a friends Tactical Supergrade professional.,  Tactical Carry and X-Tac.  None of them missed a beat in a couple hundred rounds each ( of course neither did my Kimber or Springfield.)

They make FANTASTIC 1911's. The real question is are they worth the extra $4000? are they $4000 better than other 1911s? IMHO unless your using it for competition or SERIOUS duty use for 90% of people no. If you can afford it go for it but I think 90% would be just fine with a 1911 around the $1000-$1500 mark. just my 2 cents.

All that being said....I want one :)
