gmu 101 help

Looking for some advice for gmu 101.  any help would be apreciated

Not sure what your hunting but the Grouse hunting up there is awesome!!!!!!! :IBCOOL:

opps forgot to add mule deer Have a youth hunter with me for the general modern firearm season. Grew up hunting little naches and selkirk area. just want to give 101 a try

Did you get to hunt over in the 101? I'm heading up there this weekend, reserved a couple spots through the wdfw site on private land. Pm me if you are interested.

DNR maps are a good place to start. Find public land that is close to fall food sources (private fields). I muzzleload out of Curlew most years with success.

we ended up huntign opening weekend out of twisp,  Had bucks down right away .   I held out for a bigger buck.  second weekend  hunted private land in Othello and nailed two wall hangers,

both bucks.   brother in laws 4x4  28.5 wide   mines a 4x3  24 wide

Not all of the 101 is burned up..we haven't seen too many dead bucks around these parts.
