So far I'v herd only one complain "condensation", like with any single wall tent. Some says if you lift it up obove the graund to keep air flow will help to reduce condensation, other then that it's  great shelter. What I really like that I can get an anex(I have Ti large stove ) and use it as a 4 season shelter.

I have one and have used it for a few years now.Its a real good light set up for one person but will work for two in a pinch.I have the annex but rarely use it.The tarp is so long that if there is a bad storm you can just slide to the foot end and stay dry,I've never gotten wet.If its warm out I pitch it with the open end a few inches high and it helps with the condensation.

P S I will say there re less expensive options out there that I would look at before spending that kind of $$ on a new one though, for example google jimmytarps

Not a supertarp but i have the paratarp and have not had any condensation issues. I do not pitch tight to ground though.

get a mosquito coil, snap it off in about 10" lengths(1 per night)light it at the foot end on a small piece of alum. foil.Or when I'm expecting them to be real bad I'll bring along a bug nest that fits inside.Bearpaw in Co. made it for me in weighs about 16 oz.

I have the Paratarp and I have used it as a shelter during the day, rather than for an overnight shelter.

While it can be rigged tight to the ground, I have had better luck using longer poles and leaving around a foot or more of gap to the ground, with cords through the peg loops.

In the Olympics, if I didn't rig some kind of shelter for my "stand", I found out I got wet through and it made it hard to stay out all day.  With a shelter, I could make coffee on a small gas stove, glass for deer, etc. and stay warm and dry.  (Well, drier.  Still got a little wet from the hike in.)

After sealing the seams, it is raintight and incredibly light.  If I manage to tear this one up, I will probably get another.
