Or the strategy is:  Announce a good place to hunt for the world to see, then have all the old timers figure it will be crawling with newbs who read it on the internet so the old timers don't go.  The newbs will be getting lost along the trail, so the one guy has it all to himself.

spend some time at that trailhead and you will figure out how popular it is. It's no secret spot and the trail is wide enough to drive a golf cart. A blind man can find his way up there. Just follow the crowd, hunters and hikers.
