If you purchase muzzle loader deer. you can only hunt during muzzle loader season.. ONE season unless u drew the multi season permit.    Either download the regs on your phone or go pick up a copy for free.

You can only hunt muzzleloader season with a muzzleloader tag.  If you had a multi season tag you could hunt both seasons.

No, not if you purchase the Muzzle loader tag. You would have to have the Multi Season deer tag and then you would be able to use the ML to hunt the MF season.

But you can use any legal weapon during MF season.  Get a MF tag and use what you like but would seem kinda silly to bow hunt during MF season.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

Thanks, we had a discussion in the office about that this morning.  Some thought that since you can hunt a muzzle loader (non NW) during modern rifle that you were legal for any ML.

I am not sure what your question is? Yes , I believe you can use a non NW muzzleloader during the modern firearms season if you have a modern firearms tag. If you buy a muzzle loader tag as you asked about in your initial post, you need to use a muzzleloader that complies with the regs for muzzle loader and you can only hunt during the muzzle loader seasons.

But you can use any legal weapon during MF season.  Get a MF tag and use what you like but would seem kinda silly to bow hunt during MF season.
I had a multi season deer tag last year and killed a buck with my bow during the modern firearms season. I love to hunt with the bow. :IBCOOL:

Macs, using a muzzleloader (non-NW or NW) during modern rifle season can be a great strategy, especially if you are in a firearms restricted area.  Just be sure to purchase the modern rifle tag (NOT the muzzleloader tag).  Remember, the tag in Washington refers to the season, and only incidentally to the choice of weapon.

There is just too many old farts eating at the same diner to ever get a consensus opinion in my home town.
Thank goodness that never happens on Hunt WA. ;)

Glad you got it sorted out.
