Anyone hear of two bulls being killed near Eatonville
« on: September 10, 2015, 09:18:37 AM »
I heard that two bulls were killed one two days a go and one yesterday.  Both had their heads removed and back straps.  Left the rest.

I just talked to the land owner.  I will be talking to one of the game officers as soon as I get off work.  I think I have a good idea who did it.

Nope, I have seen pictures so it is fact.  Crazy they shot them out of season and only took the head and back straps.   Just left them in a field.

First one I would check would be the guy that pulled his "card" out trying to claim the bull hit by the F150 last week (in another post).

I'll have to ask around while I'm out today.

This ain't the first time this has happened in the area. About 5 years ago I saw 4 bulls heads in a pile with antlers cut off. Happens all the time. . Just saw a deer the other day quartered out toward Morton. That area is getting so poached out its unreal.
Just saw a bow hunter coming out of county park the other day in eatonville too. It's redidulous.

Were the bull heads during elk season?

If i remember right it was late February early March. Well after duck season ended.
As far as the deer goes found that about 11 days ago. In the brush about 40 yards from a logging gate. Fresh.
Here is a trail cam pic in May of an arrow hanging out of bull. Thats a long time past September archery season. I've just seen way too much and heard of a lot happening. And that area has really gone down hill because of it. That's why I now focus elsewhere on my hunts to try to get away from poached areas.

There were two bulls killed a week before bow season opened with the heads and back straps missing.  The land owner is a little cranky and the people who are leasing the property for their horses are really cranky.  There some a suspect identified.  I have talked to the officer as well to provide that information and some additional activities of that said person.

The officer has initiated some interviews with the said person.

I dont know if this helps but i saw a red dodge with a kapowsin hancock sticker on hwy 7 and 304th with a elk rack sticking out of the back when i was coming back from deer hunting labor day weekend. I didnt get a plate number since he passed me going south on 7. I just found it odd that someone had one in thier truck a week before the season started.

Whoever did this aught to be shot, have head chopped off themselves. What a waste of two majestic animals. Dang that makes me angry! :bash: Hope justice is served with no lube on this one!

Since i am a bow hunter i know when the season starts. If you read the whole post you would know that i saw it on labor day which was the 7th.
