First elk, first archery kill.
« on: September 20, 2015, 04:46:53 PM »
So proud of my son, got his first elk last Friday and I was not there  :bash:

Elkrunner  was there and helped him out, I was on my back to camp. He came back a day before me and hunted my stand when he took this cow. I did get there in time to help carry out the last load of meat.

First shot took out both shoulders, she dropped in her tracks then put two other arrows in her to finish her off quicker.

Had a great time in elk camp this year, just wish my work schedule didn't screward up my hunting opportunity.
