He's got to get within 90 yards and then let 'er fly.

Jokes...everybody.

Stalking mule deer with a recurve to killing range is going to have a high rate of failure.  If he's finding legal bucks and is able to stalk within 100 yards, he just needs to slow down and enjoy the challenge of getting within 20 yards or less.  It's going to be hard but it'll be awesome when he closes the deal.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

For the OP....here is what I would do.........I'd pay a heck of a lot of attention to this guy.

He shoots via film more animal of every variety than most of us will see in 20 years of hunting. This was a great thread from last year and he shoots stick and string. Shoot him a pm....get a few pointers....and hope it all works out.

Thanks Johnathan for reminding me were the humor is , or that at least im not the only one that sees it ,,,I saw a way to hunt mulies one time , ive brought this up before but here goes, these guys get out of there truck and start picking weeds in the dark , when it gets light out they explain what s going on,they make a light blind out of canvas and tent poles , its got all kinds of pockets on it, its pretty much dirt colored and they fill all the pockets with the weeds , then they glass for deer pick out a target and very slowly move in behind the blind these guys were successful two out of the three times they showed and got a nice 3x4 35 yards away , it took 2 hours to get to him but really cool stuff, since were here again has anybody seen this ?
