It took a summer of scouting and week of chasing him around the mountain but man did it pay off!

Backpacked in 17 miles for this one.   :chuckle:   217 yards with the smoke pole.  Wasn't elk hunting, but had a tag in my pocket and took advantage of some fine eatin' when the opportunity presented itself.
