First bow kill, first Elk, first Roosevelt, first bull!!
« on: September 14, 2015, 10:42:21 AM »
It took me Five years but I finally connected on a nice (any legal animal will do) Roosevelt bull elk. The hunt was worth the wait for me as it wasn't a step out of the truck and there he was kind of thing (which would be fine), but it was several miles up then down where I got onto the heard. I arrowed him at first light opening day.

Five years to get there and it's over in the first hour? Almost anti climactic. ;) congrats, nice job. I always hope for a few days of hunting.
