Elk and weather

Any good reads out there, book or otherwise, that focus on the affects of weather, wind, barometric pressure, etc., on elk behavior and movement?

I don't have a book, but I can tell you that those are 3 major factors on elk behavior.

I have gathered that these are things to key in on with elk, or any animal for that matter. Any experience pointers you have come up with? I am looking to get a little more scientific with my elk hunting and would appreciate any knowledge in this area.

Your three scientific factors are effective signals on how animals behave. Spend plenty of time in the woods and you will begin yo see how those conditions do show you the benefits of hunting when conditions are at their best.
I will tell you from years of chasing elk that a rainy day with a good steady breeze can be primo. Also, watch your barometer and hunt when it starts to take a big fall!!
