Colorado buck 2015
« on: September 15, 2015, 05:16:41 PM »
After 3 days in Colorado we finally spotted a shooter buck so on the fourth day I hiked up 6k verticle feet to 13,500ft to find this guy in my travel to the other shooter.

Nice buck. Did he just lose his velvet? All the bucks I've seen, through last weekend, still had velvet. That was from 8,600-11,400 feet.

he has a way bigger frame, the other buck was a 185 typical in velvet.

Nice buck! Curious about the red color. Did he just finish rubbing or was he in and around cedar trees or something red?
