I have had my m77 ruger 7mm for 12 years all of the sudden having trouble getting it zeroed anyone having this problem with this rifle?
its got a synthetic stock had a leupold scope on it when it seemed to start going south just put a vortex HD with new mounts and rings still the same problem. have always ran factory Rem 175gr core locks. thanks all for feedback.
last time out took 14 shots 8 in the bull ring 6 were from 6 to 10 inches all over the board and yes was using a vise.
Mine did that couple years ago. Scrubbed the living daylight out of the barrel and the groups came back in tight.

I know someone else with one of these rifles that's fairly old and the thing is still a tack driver. so ammo change could be a possibility. check your rings and bases to see if they are tight. check the stock make sure its properly tight and not swollen or cracked anywhere. final thing I would check would be the scope, optics sometimes get hit just right or wear out and wont hold zero anymore.
