Just because you have permits for stuff doesn't mean anybody can  just shoot at anything.

We have any bull and cow permits. So any elk that moves gets shot.
what is this "WE" you keep talking about.

Our party consists of 2 people. My 69 year old father and I. We hunt within a 100 yards of each other. Typically side by side, as we walk a lot of old spur roads together. If he shoots a cow and I have a permit; I will tag it and vise versa. You act like a hypocrite coming in here trying to act like you follow the rules by the book. Maybe we should open up the discussion to all your "shoot, shovel, and shut up" posts in the wolf topics. Nearly every hunter I know works together to fill permits. Its not like he is at home on the couch and I am out filling his permit on the other side of the state. I don't believe in that. If we are out there putting in the work "together" and we get meat on the ground; absolutely we will help each other. SMH

Agreed...
I turned in a poacher a few years ago. My 21 quality elk points mean nothing.
