Are both of y'all staying in the Cougar area? This is my first year hunting in Wa. Will that area have a lot of pressure?

Apparently, allegedly, the wife did not call in time for a cabin, soooooooooooooooo,

we will be in our tent , again, come sat nite.

Unless

I find the bull that is rubbing, and the top of his rub is 8 ft off the ground.

It's Friday before elk season on the Lewis River Rd!  West bound open.  East bound bumper to bumper. Might have neighbors when I get back to camp.

I was wondering when the flood gates would open. There were maybe 25% of the normal camps set up last sunday. Maybe the last weekend of deer season affected camp setup dates?

I'll probably pass Ariel about 9pm tonight.  :)
