8X8 killed near Packwood
« on: November 09, 2015, 09:42:32 AM »
I was duck hunting down in the area, and I heard from a friend who was hunting that there was an 8 X 8 killed..  Was wondering if anyone has a pic up close.  I saw it a few times in the fields, but never got a good look.

Was that the big one with nice eyeguards?

I was up there this weekend, my folks have a place just out of city limits on the west side of town.  There was a monster bull in the no shooting zone just down fron the golf course.

We seen 200 or so elk but alot of hunters driving the roads..  Sure is nice to have private land with elk in your yard.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

I was there this last weekend for about 4 days.  The first day someone got a 6x6 in the clearcut off of Thompson rd close to hwy 12 but that was all I heard about.  That clearcut was hunted to death after that for the rest of the time I was there.
