Clockum youth cow tag
« on: November 09, 2015, 12:24:40 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has some recent info. I hunt archery and muzzy here and know my areas good for early. Just never hunted this late. Trying to get my boy a cow. Any info would be great and thanks ahead of time.

Is the same as the general cow permit....and includes both 328 and 329 units.  If so pm me and I would be happy to share where we got my wife's.  Lots of sign in the area and relatively easy hike.  Don't know a ton about the area but it may help.

We were up this weekend hunting with my daughter.  Elk were in same areas they are during archery and muzzy season, just lots more people too.  My guess is this week and weekend they will be back out longer in those same areas.  There wasn't enough snow this weekend to push anything down. Maybe 1" at 5,500 feet.

We are headed back Wednesday.  Had an opportunity Saturday, just couldn't settle the crosshairs before they took off and on Sunday the elk were on posted land.

Good luck.

almost all the cow we seen taken this last week while up there destroying my new hunting boots pounding the brush, the cows were taken past the old wood cabin on the powerlines towards the reserve.
I am applying for a cow permit next year, i could have tagged out MANY times over this seasons spike hunt.
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.
