Not really.  Only in the early morn, and very little

We had nearly 70 degree temps the other day with that warm wind.  It was crazy.

No freezing yet.  Had some morning ice around a local pond last Friday but then warmed up.

I saw that also.  A low of 19 on Friday night and a warm high of 39 for Saturday with a light wind.  I may have to dig out my gloves that have fingers.

Stay away from the Moses Lake area it won't be good hunting this weekend or next. Too cold, stay home where it's warm and watch some football.

We do need an influx of ducks as the wind blew a lot of the residents out of here.   I saw few ducks on Moses by the freeway as I drove to the far end of town today.  The smaller geese were there but few ducks.   No fishermen out either, for that matter.

I Checked the weather for next week and it said a low of 9 one day!!! Don't know if there's any truth to this because they have lied to me before... Many times. Hopefully it will freeze the back stagnant water and push them into new spots

It was 25 here in east wenatchee at 5:15 this morning. Saw it was a few degrees colder in the basin. I bet protected small ponds will have a thin layer from last night and tonight.

Nope, but it's cold. Had one drake to my bag before I had some kind of hole collapse under me while I was in the water and went for a swim. Quick way to end a hunt. Planning on giving it another go this afternoon after I warm up and dry out.

A guy we had out with us one year broke thru on one of the backwater areas of the Snohomish river while after a duck.  We'd warned him to walk only on the areas that had reeds but he had to get out to the open water section.  He broke thru up to his waist and we quit and made a quick boat ride back to the trucks.  Those electrical engineers thought they knew everything.

Yea, gotta remember that most of the year when the water is down other animals are out there digging holes for us to find when they are filled up with water.

There's a local guy who traps muskrats in the canals.  He gets about 1000 each year.  It helps hold down the tunneling.

Back in the 2 foot water ways of potholes this afternoon I was messing around with a buddy and accidentally turned my boat into an ice breaker. Water temp was about 37 back there and 45 on the bigger water.
