Any new reports? Heading over Thursday night to the southern part of the basin. Even better any more predictions on what the water will do by then?

I am confident that with night time temps dipping into low 20s each night that ice is building.

What do you consider the southern part of the basin?

Oh around Othello /basin city I guess its not too far south. Would it be safe to assume stagnant water will be pretty froze up?

All the ponds started freezing over saturday.  It's been cold and today the fog never broke and we haven't gone above freezing.  Better find big or moving water. It's gonna get worse by thanksgiving.

Yes the Potholes is starting starting freeze up in the back and moving towards the main lake nightly.  By Thursday it's going to be a cluster with everyone dog piling on the Crab creek side of the lake and center dunes.

Birds are scarce around moses.  Still low numbers resting around town.

Very few birds flying this morning in Moses.

Nick and I froze yesterday while sitting in the fog.  Molly the dog wanted to run in the water and then flop in the sand.   I had to take my gun home to get the wet frozen sand off of it.  Molly wanted to lean on it.  Nothing like grit in an o/u.

Found out the neckwarmers that say "one size fits most" doesn't apply in my case.  Found a bigger one later yesterday.

Tagging into this... Hope it doesn't freeze too much up by this weekend. My spots are around some moving water too however.

Does potholes reservoir freeze completely over? And are there some boat accessible lakes year round?

Any of you guys headed east to moses better watch it.  Driving home from the coast tonight, there were a couple icy snow drifts across i90 just east of vantage, was a couple rigs in an ugly wreck with a few staters and flares, and i damn near joined the party when i hit that slick spot.  Bout crapped my britches.  Dont be in a hurry.
