Christmas Knives!
« on: November 28, 2015, 09:48:31 PM »
Gunstock knife and mushroom picker are done!

The gunstock knife is built from a piece of wood that was leftover from the customer's custom gunstock build. Beautiful piece of walnut. Capped with brown Ebony. Pinned with mosaic and brass and the buttcap is pinned with hickory.

The mushroom picker is built with an exhibition grade piece of sonoran desert ironwood, the butt is capped with Musk ox horn. Mosaic pin and brass pins.

Both are D2 carbon tool steel.

Have time to do a few more Christmas orders in D2 or Sawmill carbon if anyone is interested! (I likely don't have time to do any Stainless or Damascus in time for Christmas delivery!)

Very cool. Nice work.
