Just a bit, but we are getting back to closer than normal.

Nice! how do you dispatch the skunks without spraying in a open trap like that ?

I use a telescoping pole with a syringe on the end and inject 10 cc of Acetone into their lungs.  They are dead usually in under 10 seconds.

What a GREAT morning.  My Grandson is up from Florida and flies out this afternoon.  So I got to take him out and run the couple of sets I have out.  Scored on a nice 49 pound beaver.  The look on his face and the excitement made my whole season today.

Caught a couple of nice beaver tonight, 53 pounds and a 40 pounder and a really fat possum.







This one tried to drop a tree where I park my truck!!

There used to be a lot of stripped Skunks around here 30 years ago, now it is rare to even see one ran over on the highway. Maybe it's the lack of old barns to live under and fewer chicken coops to raid.

Sounds weird but I would like to catch one and get the skin tanned I like the look just not the smell of the little buggers

  Ya we used to have a lot around Duval but I rarely see or smell them now days
