Idaho elk units

I have never been nor hunt Idaho however, our group is planning next year.  We prefer terrain somewhat similar to the Colockum area. Can anyone guide us in the right direction. I plan to utilize their fish and game website and gohunt.com to narrow down where we will scout.

Unit 10a is more like a logging type area, lots of logging roads and gated quad only roads. Lots of public land as is most of Idaho.

Unit 39 near House Mountain and Danskin Mountain are a lot like Swakane...
