Torklift StableLoad quick disconnects
« on: December 21, 2015, 05:24:39 PM »
Has anyone used these? They look like a good tool to assist with the sway of the camper on the truck. After using the airbags for the last 8-9 years these look like they might be a good upgrade. I have had good luck with other Torklift products but always like a couple reviews from "real" folks before I buy some. Thank you.

I have them on my '13 Duramax and they are very well worth the money. and, buy the FASTGUNS too. Expensive but well spent mone. I've got Firestone airbags on my truck too..

I just had the anti-roll setup put on this summer, well worth that money too..

I don't have the stable load system, but have the fast guns. Money well spent so easy to install and user friendly, plus fast.

Could you even have that system, and airbags installed together? :dunno:

I was wondering the same thing. I THINK airbags would be better/easier. Don't you have get on your knees and twist the wedge gizmo to soften up the ride when not in use ?

I think you could have both the airbags and stableloads. I have the airbags and still have more sway than I would like. If the stableloads work like they say it would only make things better. I would keep the airbags for trailering my excavator and hauling lighter loads but I know they are getting old (will be 10 years this spring) and looking at what is out there.

Appreciate the responses. I have the fast guns for hold downs and yes they are the ticket for what they do.

Tried talking to the factory rep at the Sportsman Show.......got the new guy who had only worked for Torklift for less than a month  :bash: and knew very little. Why a company would send a guy that new to talk to the public about products he knows nothing about is beyond me, but I tried to get more info. I am still thinking I will get some online and see how they work.
