Awesome bull, thanks to the guy that posted the pic on here from another open-access website that many here aren't members of.   

The guy's son posted it on the Facebook. If he didn't want it all over the net, he should have had his son refrain from posting it on the world's largest social media site.
I'm not one to post other people's photos without their ok, but let's be honest...his son should not have put it out there if he didn't want it on the www. There's a metric ton of garbage posts over on Facebook about this bull. I see none here.

What get's me is when guys just hack them off at the head.  I am sure he is just going to do a euro mount but that cape is worth some money to someone.

Just something for everyone to think about.  If you get a big bull or buck but don't have the money for a shoulder mount, you should still save the cape.

Most don't do any mounting of there heads or shoulders. You probably only see a fraction of the animals harvested on the Colville reservation and they get some dandies!! They like myself just don't post any pics on the web......

What get's me is when guys just hack them off at the head.  I am sure he is just going to do a euro mount but that cape is worth some money to someone.

Just something for everyone to think about.  If you get a big bull or buck but don't have the money for a shoulder mount, you should still save the cape.

Most don't do any mounting of there heads or shoulders. You probably only see a fraction of the animals harvested on the Colville reservation and they get some dandies!! They like myself just don't post any pics on the web......

My comment was actually meant for everyone, not just tribal members, I see a ton of photos with some pretty awesome racks that the head is just cut off.  Every year there are guys that get a trophy of their lifetime and damage the cape on the way out of the woods, with poor shot placement or hair slip because they don't get it cooled off in time.   those guys could use one of these capes from another hunter that didn't want to do a mount.  Instead of just cutting off the head if you don't have a need for the cape, save the cape and donate it to your taxidermist, many times they will take it as credit for your next mount.  Just my

They post them on their sites.  RBBP is a good one, it is one I go to to see how people I know are doing during the season.

Sorry about that. Yes I know it was meant for everybody. I have brought and received credit for a couple of capes myself so they will do it. A friend of mine got a big bull and the taxi had to buy him a cape $125.00 !!!! daaangg....... anyway have a good one......

I just thought that some people on here enjoy seeing mature animal's that were taken by people who put in work to harvest a nice animal. It seem's like if they can't put someone down for the way they hunt then it's the shoe's they're wearing. Like Plat said, maybe he did sell the cape to someone who didn't need the head because they are using it for clothing or a rug to cover a chair or anything else. Then again, wouldn't it be illegal for him to sell part's of the animal? I thought the tribe didn't allow that.
