Late season washougal.
« on: November 16, 2015, 07:50:19 AM »
Starting to pack the trailer and get everything ready for late muzzy elk in the washougal unit.  Hoping to find the bull I missed last year.  I've been hunting elk on and off for almost 15 years and still have yet to get my first.  Last year was the closest I have ever got.  Hoping for snow and dry powder.

Still trying to get everything ready.   Sons fuel pump went out in his car.  Wifes transmission started getting screwy, and the kitchen sink started leaking.  Pulling my hair out trying to get everything fixed so I can just go hunting!

Sounds like its gonna be cold in the hills and snow down low!  Got everything fixed except the wifes car,  thankfully my brother inlaw loaned us a car for a bit.  Trailer is packed just got to do some shopping.

Didnt see a single elk.  Lots of grouse and some deer.  I think we were just in the wrong place this year.
