Communication to my representatives:
"Good Morning Lynda, Paul, and Don,
Please oppose HB 2354. First and foremost, this bill is in direct conflict with Article I, Section 24 of the Washington Constitution, and also with the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution. In addition, it's ridiculous to think that this law will be followed by or deter people who want to murder. The only effect of it will be the disarming and endangerment of good citizens by limiting their capacity to defend themselves and their families against those who would harm them. To put this into perspective, if I am limited to a specific magazine capacity and am then faced with multiple attackers or intruders into my home, I will be put at an extreme disadvantage. Please don't allow this trampling of our rights. I implore you to reject this bill. Thanks very much and I respectfully request the courtesy of your reply."

Very Dang Good.

Take the same text, run it as an imitative, and it will pass by a significant margin. I can see Bill and Melinda Gates and Paul Allen jumping on the fund raising wagon again.

True if this fails, we might see an initiative. Hopefully after 594 we have enough coordination to stop it. 594 didn't pass with a landslide.

Well it reads that if you have them now, you will at least get to keep them for now. What's here can stay! You have to follow I-594 if you want to sell them.

NEW SECTION.
Sec. 2.
A new section is added to
chapter
9.41
RCW
1
to read as follows:2
(1)
No person in this state may manufacture, possess, purchase,
3
sell, or otherwise transfer any assault weapon or large capacity
4
magazine except as authorized in this section.5
(2)
Subsection
(1)
of this section does not apply to any of the
6
following:7
(a)
The possession of an assault weapon or large capacity
8
magazine by a person who legally possessed the assault weapon or
9
large capacity magazine prior to the effective date of this section,
10
or possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine by a
11
person who, on or after the effective date of this section, acquires
12
possession of the assault weapon or large capacity magazine by
13
operation of law upon the death of the former owner who was in legal
14
possession of the assault weapon or large capacity magazine. A person
15
who legally possesses an assault weapon or large capacity magazine
16
under this subsection
(2)(a)
may not sell or transfer the assault
17
weapon to any other person in this state other than to a licensed
18
dealer, to a federally licensed gun smith for the purpose of service
19
or repair, or to a law enforcement agency
yeah grandfathered which is why this ones is way more dangerous than the last one. Which the National one is Grandfathered in as well.
But no you can't even sell them it says in there that anyone possessing them before said date will not be able to sell them other than to Law enforcement to be disposed of, or to a Licensed FFL or to be a Gunsmith for repair, it also says that you can't sell to anyone out of state as well.

IT just never ends........  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

We can guarantee that the billionaires will do their best to mislead the Washington public about this bill.
Reminds me of the hunger games. Our lives and suffering are no more than entertainment to the elite.

I just told my cousin last night I feel like we are turning into a hunger games movie.

Is there anyway of knowing when that specific grandfathered date is going to be? I would like to buy my Arsenal Sam7sf before all this takes place

here's one for ya and sure most will just say it's ok, but why do you think they passed the all felons must register last year?
Conspiracy or agenda or not they are going to tie this/these bans together sometime.
Same with all this mental health stuff in Obamas EO's. They are now able to share from state to state so next that will be a law to have all persons that have had mental health issues registered.
Much like the veteran's who have had to turn in their guns, because of some archaic thing the VA said barred them from owning them.
They already bar people from owning guns because of some Domestic Violence from owning them (That's a different argument in itself) But that will be one of the next steps I'm sure.
Eventually this will all tie in, and more unseen things that I can't see right off will be tied in as well.

Well I'd say some time after it passes if it does. Laws usually take 90 days or so to go into effect so at that point I'd say.

Pretty much started happening in California as of 1/1/16!!!

All the stepping stones to confiscation are being laid at this point it's only a matter of time. Obama is using his last year in office to lay the foundation for Hillary to implement the final push! Resistance?? That's when the UN takes over all the "World Heritage" Sites and sets up occupation. It's coming, they won't let up now, they've built up too much momentum.  :twocents:

Ok well that will give me enough time I guess. Probably buy as many 25 round 10/22 magazines as I can find as well. When I was a kid I remember it was super hard to find them because of that assault rifle band. We found one at a pawn shop and paid an outrageous price for it

I did buy 3 20 round magazines for the Mini 30. Any magazines that say Ruger are not cheap!

Idaho... I've been throwing the idea around for a while myself. I can transfer tomorrow if I want which is a nice option.

There is no where to move to. Fight it here.
State sovereignty will not exist shortly without drastic "change".
