thanks  for the link  sent a nope in opposition to the bill..

here  were my  comments..
violates the constitution... whoever introduced this bill should resign as they clearly refuse to fulfill their oath to defend the constitution. What's next my right to free speech? you're already going after my religion! Ohh and it will not stop any mass shooting events or any crime. this bill is about securing votes from people ignorantly afraid of guns. and by the way. I used to be one of them. you vote in favor of this ban you will not be getting my vote in November.

I wanted to bump this up again, everyone on this forum should write in.  I have and encourage the rest of you to do so as well.

If they receive a lot of support for this bill and it doesn't make it through the legislative session you can nearly be certain to see it on a voter initiative in the future.  We need to show them that it has no chance to deter future efforts as well!   :yike:

After emailing the whole Senate and the House, have been getting "ya we will kick this legislation in the stones" replies.

It is encouraging.

So far none of the "pro" voices have replied. Guess their Low T.

My thoughts exactly. That is where the real fight will be. We need to talk to evryone we meet about this. And keep up.

If you requested a response, they'll respond. All three 2A supporters. I've spent lots of time with both Benton and Harris discussing 2A. 2A was part of Wilson's platform.

Unsuccessfully challenged.

I sent in my comments over the weekend. Just got a response from Ed Orcutt supporting my opposition, and saying he is pro 2A.

Think SAF.org is challenging.

It is on a hold isn't it?  They actually need a person that is being prosecuted in order to try the law.  If I remember correctly, SAF wants the law legally clarified because of all the vague wording (especially in the transfers).  But the grabbers are resisting.....hmmmm, why would you want a law that isn't clear?

When asked "why would you want a law that isn't clear?" those pushing it said "What can't this be more like CA?!".

I went to the comment link and voiced my opposition.
I heard from 2 of my district representatives today.
Here is what I was told. I will also include the email of the Representative sponsering the bill  (Moeller).
