Last chance Freezer filler 2004
« on: January 25, 2009, 11:03:40 AM »
I t was the last afternoon hunt in Oregon that year as I was out of time before I had to return to work. Spotted a group of deer and saw a little buck in with a bunch a doe's. Made a move to get into position to cut them off and made a good shot on this little guy. 270 win with 130 nosler partition. My wife and I sure covered a lot of ground to get him. We hunted hard and he is a trophy in my book!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Hey that's just the way it goes sometimes but it's better to put some meat in the freezer than not! I had to take a little one on my last day in Montana this year too!  :)
