Moses lake final weekend
« on: January 25, 2009, 11:11:35 PM »
With everything iced up took my youngest son on 1 last duck and goose hunt with Aaron Echternkamp. As always had a great trip with Jay 1 of Aaron's guides he always gives 100% and will hunt from daylight till dark to get you your birds. Being the last weekend the birds were very nervous about landing in all we did manage 56 ducks and 3 geese. Thanks Jay and to the other 5 hunters with us

Eckternkamps and Jay are top notch people and have a good outfit going!  I have known Jay for many years and hunted with Jay many times, he used to be my neighbor for about 15 years or so! Hes a great guy and my dad and him have fished many bass tournaments together glad he was able to get you into some birds and looks like you all shot pretty good... congrats on a good ending to the season.

Another good plug for Aaron.

We hunted with one of his guides Joey.  Top notch guy.  Had an awesome Cajun squeal on his duck call. 8)

 :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

He only had one pepsi out there but I'm certain 2 packs of smokes were downed!  We didnt have much action so the call wasn't used too much :P

usually there is more calling with less birds...  complete with shoulder rolls, and neck bobs, and "how does this sound?"   :o
