upgraded truck
« on: January 23, 2016, 08:44:58 PM »
finally after more years than I can remember I decided to get a newer truck for our outdoor excursions. I love my old 89 12-valve Cummins and it still runs better than anything I've ever owned but the rest of the truck is falling apart around that engine/drivetrain. wanted more seating room so I went with a 06 3500 quad with the Cummins. already getting better mileage since my old one had no overdrive. in the rural area where I live, once people saw my new truck I got four inquiries about buying the old one!

Are you sure the new one is a 2006? The badging tells me it's 2007.5/2008 or newer with a 6.7.

Beautiful truck but I agree. Either the badging has been added or the year is wrong.

Then they switched to the 6.7 mid 2007 and they went to this badging.

Easy enough for a guy to add the nicer looking badges though.

Maybe they changed it in 2007 regardless of the engine I guess? My bad.
