I'll be there.  No real advice on purchasing a boat I have been looking at new and used ones for about a year.  (I like to do my research). I think best money is spent on a well maintaned used one, but it depends on what your looking for.

Have fun

It all depends on what you are looking to spend. I just bought a boat from Dan at valley marine. It is my second boat from them first was a used, and just bought a new 2016 Lund. He is great to work with and has several options to choose from. Whether it's a Lund, crestliner, Lowe or pleasure boat. I would certainly talk to them and see what your opinion is. If you have questions PM me. I know that buying used is kinda scary unless you have it thoroughly inspected, and you can get a really nice new boat for not a whole lot more that has a warranty. Just saying. Good luck.

Well, got my boat.  Will get it in about 2 weeks.  Starweld 2000dc with 150 merc, ipilot 80lb thrust.  Has seating for 8 with a ski tower over the motor.  Dual axal trailer with electric and surge brakes.  Spent almost 7 hours there talking to all the sales people and doing Internet research at the same time.  I think I did alright.  Going to be some great times ahead for my family.
