Infamous "Eastmans Article"
« on: February 25, 2016, 12:04:50 PM »
I've come across many references to this on the site but have never been able to find the article itself.  Does anyone have it and is willing to share?  Not interested in the location, just the story.  Feel free to PM.  Apologies to anyone that this may be re-opening wounds for.

From what I've gathered there was an article published about a masher taken on the high hunt many years ago and the location was more or less disclosed.  Resulted in a very crowded drainage in following years.

I remember a sweet high buck deer article and lots of drainage pictures.
Bummer.

I know the one, its from the mid 90's.  One of the guys in the article is a good buddy of mine, he posts on here rarely.  Although that article might have opened a few eyes, even without it was only a matter of time, the internet and google earth has probably accounted for more high hunt pressure than that eastmans article.

The one I know about was probably 8 years ago. 4 guys hiked into a drainage and killed a nice non typ that went like 203 or something if I remember right. Nice looking buck.

Regards, Branden
