Tripod shooting sticks

I saw Tripod shooting sticks at the Sportsmens show. After seeing how they set up itis obviously way more stable than the single or doubles I've tried. Problem is I didn't find out the brand name. They were black with some red trim if that helps. I really want a nice set even if it costs me some weight.

Trigger sticks are the way to go very quick and easy to use and on un even ground they shine even more

I've used Bog pod bipods and tripods for quite some time.  Both have worked well for me.  I take the bipod when I'm hiking in a ways and the tripod when it's a short hike in (the tripod is quite a bit heavier than the bipod).  Bog pod also makes an adapter so you can change out the gun rest for a camera/spotting scope mount.  The mount won't take the place of a good quality tripod but it can help when you don't want to pack a separate tripod in.  I've never tried the trigger sticks but I've heard many good things about them as well.  Good luck with your choice!

Used trigger sticks this past elk season.  Made all the difference in the world. Super stable and quick, easy setup on uneven ground.

I use a BogPod tripod. I personally find that free standing monopods and bipods are worse for me than shooting offhand. The tripod is not as stable as a bipod like a Harris attached to the rifle, but gets close.

It doubles as a walking stick, and also as a very stable support for glassing with binoculars and spotting scopes.

Treking poles work really good if you carry a bungee  cord around d them. Also a spotter tripod can work really well .

Thread is a little old, but I finally bought the Bog Pod Tripod and took it out to shoot my .17 HMR. I had actually considered buying a shooting bench for better accuracy, and also considered mountting a Harris bipod onto it. But I liked the Tripod shooting sticks idea for all the applications I'd be using them for, so I bought them first. I enjoyed using the sticks so much more than laying down and using an old sewn up pant leg full of sand as a rest.
