Tickled for you!  This has been a fun thread to follow.

FWIW, depending on how close you were to your calling stand when you shot, the bear may have been moving because of your call.  If he was within sound range, even extreme sound range, it is likely that the sound influenced him.  I've killed several critters or run into them when walking quite a ways back to my vehicle after calling, including bears.  Most of them were responding/reacting to the call in some way but staying far from it (as evidenced by tracks in snow, etc.)

Good on you however it came together!
