The prescott units quality has gone down the toilet.. I use to see a lot of big bulls and the last couple years havnt. The amount of big bull tags they give for the unit has really knocked down the age of bulls there.

No way would I do Prescott with an archery tag, unless you like hunting in a jungle.  I don't know what quality was like in the past in that unit, but I know there's one less quality bull running around this year then there was last year.   ;)

If want a decent bull hunt observatory would almost be a slam dunk to draw with seven points and you can hunt 342 and not have much company . the northern units you want will still be fair at best to draw , like one guy said hail mary number one and take a hunt you would be happy with on second choice.

it would be VERY interesting to hunt that unit with a bow!   :yike:  that said, i do know a guy that shot a 220" bull at 20 yards in that unit.  with a .300 RUM  :o :chuckle:

Good advice from you guys.   I have 21 points and every year is a dilemma when I don't draw! 😡.  Good luck to you!

Going partners with my cousin this year, averaging to 14 points. One Hail Mary, one that should have relatively good odds.

Archery in the Observatory is a complete ZOO!!!!!! was in there last year for 5 days and ran in to more people then any animals.  They need to cut that tag allotment in half .

I see your problem. You have too many points. You'd better put in with me to average those points down a bit   ;)
