It might have even been cheaper than that... Cant remember that holster is over 2 years old.

Can it really make the difference from deathgrip tight to sliding out easily?  If so itd be great, i wouldnt have to buy yet another holster

Can't hurt to try.  I also read of guys using wax paper putting the wax away from the gun.  Supposedly it adds just a bit of wax to the inside of the holster but I've never tried this one.  I would try to stretch it out if it will give, maybe set it out in the sun too to help soften the leather then bag it with more than one bag and let it sit for a day or two.  Who knows might be able to save it.

El Paso Saddlery makes some nice holsters. They'd be worth a look.
