Any advice for a first timer at Lake Scanewa for springers?

I just got a new boat and I am looking to try out a new lake. Been doing some research on Lake Scanewa and really want to try and hit it up. From what I found you want to try and be there in the day of or day after Tacoma power stocks it(which I can't find any info on that). What kind of gear do you use? Same set up as you would trolling the Columbia? Mooch herring? Maglips? Whicked lures? This would be my first go at it and it's a long trip. If anyone has advice to help out would be great.

The day doesn't really matter. There's  loads going up there almost every weekday right now. The more fish dumped. The better they will bite. Mag warts. Herring. Divers aND brads cut plugs etc.
2 loads went up today!

We just dropped a big glob of eggs to the bottom reeled up a few cranks and floated around aimlessly.  We had some phenomenal days out there last year.  I believe we had a small chunk of tuna belly on there as well.
Hunting and Fishing are not matters of life or death... THEY ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT!!!

There were guides out there trolling, but we never tried it.
