Mason Lake

Had a chance to try it out last weekend. Didn't catch thing. Tried powerbait, grubs, and a couple odd lures I found in the bottom of my tackle box. Better luck next time.

If you have a way to transport that little boat, do yourself a favor and take it over to Spencer Lake. Spencer is a short distance from Mason Lk and usually has pretty decent fishing.

I second this, Spenser has much better fishing then Mason!
though I admit my knowledge is about 5 years old.
Never had what I would call a "good day" fishing Mason, even though we caught fish. Spenser was more "what time did you get you limit, 9:00 or 10:00 am?"
And you can catch a surprise big catfish on occasion,

And you can actually fish Spencer without dodging water skiers all day long unlike Mason where it is a zoo with skiers.

mason has a plethora of panfish/bass in it. bobber and a worm right next to pretty much any dock.
