Any Blues late mule deer permits?
« on: June 14, 2016, 05:24:11 PM »
Seems like this is my annual post-draws questionnaire thread.

Did anyone draw any of the late Blue Mountains GMU's mule deer permits?

Two of my friends drew 162. I am excited for them and jealous at the same time.

A friend of mine drew one.  Assume you're referring to unit number Dayton 1017, Nov. 20th-24th, 3 pt. or better any deer.

Always been tempted to put in for a certain blues late mule deer tag, but just never thought it would be worth my high points.  We don't see too many posts on these hunts, probably means it's really good!!

I think at least a portion of what you say is pretty accurate.

I had the mule deer late permit in the Tucannon in 2010. Not sure I've ever seen another thread on the forum about any of these hunts. The year after my hunt, they made it any buck 3point or better. There were definitely not a lot of deer to be found in the Tucannon but it only takes one I guess.
