Crab poaching?
« on: June 22, 2016, 05:11:08 PM »
Anyone know a phone number I can call to report people crabbing in a spot they're not supposed to and on a closed day? I've tried calling the hotline and theyre closed and won't receive my call and the local police and sheriff's office is closed up until tomorrow

Is there something besides 911?

Either call 911, tell them your reporting a fish and wildlife violation and they'll transfer you to State Patrol dispatch. Or call state patrol dispatch directly, the number is in the regs.

911 or state patrol. Get a description of the boat and any part of the vessel number, description of how many people on board and what they are wearing.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Thanks guys. I reported it. They weren't in a boat just on the dock which clearly states no fishing or crabbing from dock. State patrol said they should be there in a few min.

That would have been my guess. I'm not racist, just racially prejudiced.  Yeah, stole that from Plat.

They only review those texts during business hours mon-fri, same as the 'poaching hotline'
