Long range shooting on west side
« on: June 22, 2016, 09:22:57 PM »
I am looking for a place (or places) where I can shoot/practice out to 500 yards within about an hour drive from Issaquah.  I go to Bellingham for work on occasion, and have shot the 200 & 300 yard lanes at the Plantation Range, but am now ready to start stretching it out some to validate my BDC reticle.  Anyone have some good suggestions that doesn't require a membership?  Thanks!

I shoot at Eatonville.  It is called Upper Nisqually Gun Club.  It has a range out to 550.

Tacoma Rifle and Revolver in U.P. has 600 yard shoots every month.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Thanks for the info, but I looked at their website and it looks like only members of guests of a member can go there.  Are you aware of days that are open to the public?  Thanks again.

The Seattle Rifle and Pistol Club in Machias is open to the public for the 500 yd shoots according to our calendar.  I would confirm before heading out.
