Shiras Bull Moose (BlackRiver Taxidermy)
« on: June 22, 2016, 10:01:01 PM »
I will be completely honest, this is my first moose that I have done as a commercial taxidermist, just completed and headed home to its owner. Nice bull and thank you to the owner for the work! Looking forward to doing another one of these, lots of fun but no shortage of labor.

I tanned my own hide when I did my moose(s).  Holy moly that was a lot of work.   Some of the hide was pushing an inch thick I swear, and wet, holy moly that was heavy.    Very nice work.   Hard to believe that's your first.  Good job.
