2016 Spring bear GMU 111

After putting in miles and miles of scouting and going out every weekend since opening weekend. I finally connected on this chocolate colored boar at 30 yards. Enjoy

Thanks BOWHUNTER45 and yes it was a free hand shot. 33 or so yards to be exact. I had a better view of the bear than my camera man did.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking I'll probably hit this unit again for fall season after I go to my normal spots. Hopefully my girlfriend will be able to tag one again this coming season.

Ya we got two bears and seen six. I hunted till dark that night I seen you then came home and went back the following weekend to a new spot farther north and seen one that weekend and missed it Saturday night.We seen nothing on Sunday morning so we headed home again. Then headed back over the Thursday afternoon. I got my bear in the middle of the day on Friday and my hunting partner got this Saturday morning. Congrats again!!
