Ive been using the Katadyn Hiker for almost 5 years now.  I have used the Sawyer squeeze filter and never really liked it.  Have been interested in trying a Steripen, but the Hiker has always worked great for me so its not a big priority.

I have the sawyer mini if you use hydration bladders you can cut it and install the sawyer as an in line filter.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

These are the best IMO. We've had one in the family for 15 years. I wouldn't buy anything else. My friends have different filters and they felt cheap. This one is made to last. Pump incredibly fast and you can pump out of a mud puddle. You just scrub the outside of the filter every few sessions with a scotch brite and it never slows down.

Same thing we use

Do you scrub the filter after filling a bag up? Pumps so fast if you keep that filter clean!

I have the sawyer mini, steri pen and the katadyn pump.
I like the sawyer the most for backpacking.

This is what I have. A little spendy, but works great and is also a way to store water at camp.
