Looking for sum input on archery elk hunting the tatoosh. Anyone ever hunted up there? Gunna start scouting up there this weekend.

Haven't been there in like 10 years but when I was there it was very thick. Saw animals but they were usually running/trotting away. Hunt very slow

I think it's a little gem, people that do hunt there probably won't talk much about it.  Just a gut feeling.  Tatooshhh, is how it should be spelled.  :chuckle:

Thick and buggier than you can ever imagine in the timber. When you do get up onto the ridge it is basically 40° slopes either which way and nearly impossible to hunt. Beautiful area with very few animals.

Muzzleloader guys did good in there for a lot of years. It is brushy. Should be animals around in there somewhere. Good luck!
