Info? Big country, very hot and very cold. You'll want the legs of a Greek God to hunt it effectively. Definitely elk there
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I have a coworker, friend. That drew this unit for an archery tag. Hes a great guy and has helped me a lot. I know that he will be prepared to give the hunt whatever it takes to be successful. I was hoping some of you with experience in this unit would be willing to talk to him, and share some info. I would love to see him have the best opportunity possible to have a great hunt. He is an experienced  backpack hunter and is in great shape. Any of you that are willing to help out with info please shoot me a pm with your #. Or I can get you his.

I really appreciate any and all help. And I know he would to!

Not really too much to it. I have never set foot in the unit. The harvest reports say it all.  If he's able. Have him search the google map for the best roads in to camp. Then find the steep and deep and drop in.  I assume he has archery elk hunted before?  Same tactics as any other unit in the west for September archery elk.  There's no one answer to put him on elk. That's dependent on him.  But he drew a permit so...
