Ferry County Wolves Kill 3 More Cattle
« on: July 13, 2016, 07:38:01 AM »
A dead cow found this week in Ferry County was confirmed as a wolf kill, yesterday 2 more dead cattle were found that were killed and eaten by wolves. This is the wolf conflict page, it hasn't been updated with these incidents yet, but the incidents are being reported on our local radio.

They were probably sick and dying cattle. The wolves wouldn't normally do something like that.  :bash:

Another rancher we know has lost 3 cattle this year southeast of Colville. From what I heard three cattle were found dead, when they went back to confirm it was wolves one had disappeared, so they would only confirm two kills.  :bash:

Next time there's a cattle kill put a little medicine on the carcass. the cow is the farmers property you can put whatever you want on it.

Probably a lot of work, but it would be good info if there was a map of Wa. with pin points at each confirmed Wolf predation site.  Maybe another one with confirmed sightings. (although that one could get full in some areas).

Non-leathal methods for wolves killing livestock has never worked, calling on WDFW for livestock problems only prolongs the killings, as we have already seen.

I really feel sorry for people who haven't realized that the only difference between WDF&Wolves and the wolves that are feeding off their stock, is the leg count.
