Just bought two packs of herring rigs, hope I got the right ones  :chuckle: either way time will be spent a little more active on sunday :tup:

Couple more question, is there a maximum hooks on a herring rig ? What is the best way to put up herring so they keep for awhile? Thanks again for the help!! :tup:

They make a herring jig setup, rod and all. The hooks go inside a piece of pvc so they don't get hung up on everything in the boat. Can't remember the name of it though. Maybe you can Google it. I wanna say; a sabiki rod or something like that.

yeah I picked up two rigs today, I will just tie them on with a little 1/4 oz weight on the bottom and cast away or whatever, I bought a styrofoam noodle to put the Rigs back on when I am done, it works for all my other leaders and what not..
