Snoqualmie tree farm
« on: July 20, 2016, 09:25:58 PM »
I've been reading on this forum for a few months now and every once and awhile I see someone say something about the tree farm by Snoqualmie. I've never been able to figure what it was. My best guess is the Weyerhauser private property on the north side of Snoqualmie along highway 2. Can anybody confirm what it is? Thanks a bunch!

Pretty much ya. East of Hwy 203, North of Snoqualmie/North Bend, South of Hwy 2 and West of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area. I believe it was once owned by Weyerhauser, then Hancock Timber bought it and now it's owned by Campbell Global. Here is the link to the website:

Here is the map:

Huh that's much bigger than I thought. I looked on the Weyerhauer website about land they own and they have a section south of highway 2.

https://www.wyrecreationnw.com/AvailableAreas/GMapViewer.aspx

This is the map that shows it all. I'm talking about the land portion in between Wenatchee and Monroe.

Proctor creek is the Snoqualmie Tree Farm, now owned by Campbell Group. There is public land mixed in their as well but the Timber Co land is all Campbell Group. The only way to access that Timber Co land with a vehicle is through the gates off of the North Fork Snoq River outside of Snoq. You can probably get a walk in pass to access from the Proctor Creek side but the gate is a ways from Hwy 2 and FS-62 is gated right off the Hwy now. If you go East of Proctor towards Skykomish, Leavenworth, Wenatchee etc. there is a ton of National Forest land.
