" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I'm begging for a 15 mph steady southerly wind. and if I'm not being too greedy... some low clouds with some precipitation.  Opening weekend usually consists of lots of sunscreen and peeling off layers till it's too frickin' hot to be sitting there anymore.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

Hopefully, kill a buck opening weekend..............then it's time to chase Chukars, ducks and geese with a pause in there to kill a cow elk by St Helens. Love this time of year.
